A man has been taken to hospital after falling into the River Severn in Shrewsbury.
The incident happened near the Welsh Bridge just before 1pm this afternoon.
Emergency services including Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene although the man was safely out of the water after being rescued before crews arrived at the scene.
The man was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by paramedics.
