Man identified following Wellington station assault appeal
A man from Wellington wanted in connection with an assault at the town's railway station has been identified.

A 31-year-old man from Wellington last night voluntarily attended a police station, where he was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "He was taken into custody where he was deemed unfit to be interviewed and has since been detained under the Mental Health Act. He is currently on police bail until Monday, 25 May.
"I would like to thank the media for their assistance in publishing this appeal, which led to the man contacting police directly and volunteering his details, as well as the members of public who came forward with valuable information."
