Police appeal to trace men wanted for car assault

Police have released images of two men they would like to speak to after a woman was assaulted in a car being driven from Smethwick to Telford.

The woman was forced into a car on Middlemore Road in Smethwick at around 6.30pm on Friday 13 March and dropped off in Telford where the men entered a boxing club in Donnington.

The men are described as Asian, in their twenties and of a medium build.

Detective Constable Kate Powell-Perry, from West Midlands Police, is investigating the attack, she said: "This was a frightening ordeal for the young woman and we are asking for help to trace the men responsible.

"I would urge anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV to get in touch on 101."

Information can also be given to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
