A man was taken to hospital after a glider came down under power lines in Pontesbury yesterday.
The pilot, who was alone in the glider, was taken to hospital suffering from back pain following the incident which happened near Station Road at around 2pm.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service mobilised two crews from Minsterley and Shrewsbury to assist at the scene.
West Mercia Police are liaising with the air accident branch following the incident.
