A woman suffered the effects of smoke inhalation following a fire involving unattended cooking in Shrewsbury this morning.
The fire broke out in the kitchen of a property on Combermere Drive in Mount Pleasant at around 8.30am.
Two Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. They administered oxygen therapy to the woman.
