Drink driver receives 16 month driving ban
A drink driver has been banned for driving for 16 months after police followed up reports from concerned residents in the Picklescott area of Shropshire.

Police officers had received a number of reports during May by members of the public about a regular drink driver in the area.
On Sunday 31 May, a police officer was on patrol in the area when on an isolated road the officer observed the erratic driving of the subject of the reports and stopped and arrested them.
The person arrested attended the magistrates court in early June where they were given a 16 month driving ban.
A police spokesperson said: “This shows that by responding to good intelligence given freely by members of the public, police can take action against those who can possibly cause harm to the public by their irresponsible actions.“
