Motorists face delays as lorry carrying milk overturns in Telford

Motorists in the Donnington area of Telford are facing delays after a lorry carrying milk overturned at the Granville Roundabout this morning.

The incident happened at around 9.37am. The driver of the articulated lorry managed to free himself prior to the arrival of the fire service.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service say no milk was leaking from the lorry.

Four fire appliances including the rescue tender were mobilised from Telford and Wellington. An Operations officer is also in attendance.

Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service are also at the scene.

The road is closed the road between the Granville Roundabout and Marshbrook Way.
