Police have issued an appeal for witnesses and information following an indecent exposure in the Hollinswood area of Telford.

Police appeal after indecent exposure in Telford

The incident happened on Thursday 23 July at around 3.25pm on Dalford Court. Two girls, aged 15 and 16, were sitting on a footpath when a man walked past them and smiled. When he was 20 feet away, he turned around and indecently exposed himself and performed a lewd act. The man then made off towards the International Centre continuing onto the Town Park and Stirchley area.

Police believe there are potential witnesses to the incident - one is thought is to be a Polish man who was walking past at the time. Any local residents who witnessed the incident are also asked to come forward.

The man is described as black, of a stocky build, bald, in his late 30s or early 40s, wearing either a dark suit or a light blue coat, black shoes and was carrying a yellow bag.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 407S of Thursday 23 July.

Alternatively, the independent charity, Crimestoppers, can be contacted anonymously via 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org
