Firefighters tackle fire at Rednal Industrial Estate
Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire at Rednal Industrial Estate overnight.
They were called to the fire at just after midnight and remained at the industrial estate until around 4.15am.
One building was completely destroyed by the fire and a number of cylinders were believed to have been involved.
Four fire appliances including the Fuel Bowser, the Heavy Pumping Unit, the Incident Command Unit, the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere, Oswestry and Shrewsbury. Operations and Hazmat officers were also at the scene.
Crews used breathing apparatus, a ground monitor, hosereel jet and main jet to put out the fire.
Investigations into the cause are currently ongoing.
