Youths in Much Wenlock put themselves in danger at site of derelict property
Police in Much Wenlock say youths are putting themselves in danger by entering the grounds of a derelict property.

A concerned resident called the police last month after four youths were seen entering the grounds of a derelict property opposite the Gaskell Arms.
A police spokesperson said: PCSO Mal Goddard, stopped the youths and ensured that they were made aware of the illegality of entering the grounds or building and, more importantly, the dangers of entering the derelict building.
"Following this he made a search of the grounds and contacted the local Council, who were able to contact the agents who are responsible for securing the property on behalf of the owners.
"During a further visit to the site yesterday, PCSO Mal Goddard was stopped by a resident who stated that youths are still entering the grounds of the property.
"Pinefields has been empty for many years and the interior is in a very poor state of repair, as are parts of the exterior. Entering the grounds is trespass and dangerous because of the overgrown nature of the grounds and poor state of the building. Entering the building could constitute an attempted burglary, however, it would also be taking a huge risk with your own safety as the building is very hazardous."
