Police have issued an appeal for witnesses or information following a house burglary in Kemberton near Shifnal.

Car keys stolen during house burglary in Kemberton

The burglary took place between 2.30pm and 3pm on Wednesday 12 August, at a house on Mill Lane, Kemberton.

Offenders are thought to have approached the property in a grey Audi A6 and climbed onto a balcony to gain entry into a bedroom window.

Two sets of car keys were stolen from the house, before the thieves were disturbed by the occupants returning home and fled the property in an unknown direction.

Police say the offence has been captured on CCTV picking up the time of the burglary being committed.

During the burglary several vehicles drove past the house. These are thought to be a pick up vehicle, a dark coloured Freelander-type vehicle, a dark coloured Ford Focus (or similar) and a small Nissan note (or similar). Police would like to speak to any drivers or passengers of these vehicles, who may have information which could assist with the investigation.

Police would also like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour around the area during this time. Please call police on 101, quoting incident 442of the 12/08/15.
