Appeal after woman is sexually assaulted on Silkin Way in Telford

The assault occurred at around 5.30pm on Sunday 30 August and police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area between 4pm and 6pm.

The man is described as being white, with a pale facial complexion, in his early 20's, about 5 foot 8 inches tall, of medium build, with brown hair down to his jaw line. His hair is described as being straight on the left side and messy on the right hand side with a fringe swept across his forehead from right to left. The man has a tanned left arm.

He was wearing a red or orange round neck t-shirt, blue jeans and light coloured trainers.

Detective Constable Ade Jones said: "This incident occurred in the early evening so we expect there were a number of people out in the area at the time and we're keen to speak to anyone who saw anything that may help with our enquiries or who knows someone who fits this description.

"As well as the investigation team being in the area we have increased patrols to provide reassurance to local residents."

If anyone has any information that can help police with their enquiries they should call 101 and quote incident 0538s of 30 August 2015. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org
