Shrewsbury railway station closed following fatality

Shrewsbury railway station was closed earlier following a fatality on the line at the station.

Emergency services were called to the station at just before 5.30pm, a man was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

All trains using the station were suspended for a time.
