Champagne given to firefighters by Bryan Ferry to go “under the hammer” today
Champagne given to firefighters by rock star Bryan Ferry as a thank you for the part they played in saving the life of his son, Merlin, following a car crash last year will go “under the hammer” today.

They will be raffled at Wellington fire station’s open day.
The accident near Cound in December last year was attended by crews from Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Wellington who cut Merlin Ferry from the wreckage.
The champagne arrived soon afterwards with a thank you from Bryan Ferry.
