Man exposes himself to teenager in Telford

The incident of indecent exposure occurred between 3:45pm and 4pm on Wednesday 28 October, on Rookery Road in the St Georges area of Telford.

The victim, a girl in her early teens, was walking along a footpath on waste-ground near to Rookery Road when she became aware of the offender emerging shirtless from bushes on the other side of the road.

The offender exposed himself and performed a lewd act while looking at the victim. Upon seeing this, she began to run away. The offender pursued the victim for a short time, but stopped when she ran through a nearby housing estate.

The offender is described as a white man of a stocky build and is thought to be in his late thirties. He has a beard, blue eyes and at the time of the incident was wearing grey jogging bottoms and a balaclava covering the majority of his face.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have any further information should call police on the non-emergency 101 number quoting incident number 400s of Wednesday 28 October.
