New Oswestry housing development will create jobs and boost local economy

David Wilson Homes is building 65 homes at its development Montgomery Place on Morda Road which will underpin 130 jobs. As well as building new homes the housebuilder will also be investing over £300,000 in the community.

Sales Manager Angela Nurse and Site Mark Fielding were at Montgomery Place to officially mark the start of work. The development is located just half a mile from the centre of Oswestry.

John Fitzgerald, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes Mercia, said: “We are delighted to get work underway at Montgomery Place so we can begin building our quality new homes for local people. As well as building new homes, we will also be investing in the area so people throughout Oswestry will feel the benefits.

"The development will start to take shape over the next few months and we are excited about creating a new community of high quality homes for local people, all built to the exceptional standards people expect from a David Wilson Homes development.”
