A man suffered a fractured skull and loss of hearing in his right ear following an argument in Wellington.

Man suffered fractured skull following argument in Wellington

The man, in his thirties, was involved in an argument with three males outside the Beacon Pub, Market Square, at around 1am on Saturday 31st October; which lead to the victim slipping and hitting his head on the pavement.

He informed police that before the incident the suspects had also been involved in an altercation with a middle-aged couple inside Tender Fried Chicken on Church Street in Wellington.

The three males, all aged late-teens to early twenties, around 5ft 10in in height and of a slim build, were all wearing matching dark grey tracksuits. Two of the males were identified as being white; with one of those suspects having short, coarse, dark black hair. The other male is described as being mixed-race and wore a baseball cap.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “All lines of enquiry have been exhausted at this stage, and officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

“Anyone with any information should call police on the non-emergency 101 number quoting incident reference number 4S of Saturday 31 October 2015.”

Alternatively, if you do not feel comfortable speaking directly to the police then you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via the Crimestoppers website.
