Man dies after collision with car in Shrewsbury
A 64-year-old man has died following a collision with a car in Shrewsbury yesterday afternoon.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died in the early hours of this morning.
The incident occurred shortly before 4.15pm on Longdon Road, Shrewsbury, when a silver Ford Focus travelling towards Shrewsbury town was in collision with the man.
It is believed the pedestrian had been travelling on the number 26 bus prior to the collision, and officers are particularly interested in talking to any passengers who may have witnessed the incident.
Members of the public who witnessed the collision are asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 381s of 6 January 2016.
