CCTV image released following Whitchurch bank incident
Police investigating an incident at a bank in Whitchurch have released CCTV image of a man that they would like to speak to.
At approximately 3.20pm on Thursday 12 November, a man entered a bank on High Street, Whitchurch and tried to exchange a cheque for cash.
The cashier became suspicious and believed that the cheque had been tampered with. A driving licence given in support of the cheque was also believed to be a counterfeit.
Police would like to speak to the man in the image who is thought to have information pertinent to the investigation. If you recognise the man please call police on 101, quoting incident reference number 422S of 12 November 2015.
