Shrewsbury shopping parade to get £100,000 facelift
Plans to give a shopping parade in the Sutton Farm area of Shrewsbury a major facelift have been announced.

The 12-unit shopping parade at Tilstock Crescent, Shrewsbury will benefit from nearly of £100,000 of investment by property development and management company London and Cambridge Properties Limited.
The project, which is due to start in March and will take 14 weeks to complete, will include works to the convenience and disabled parking and improved landscaping, helping to increase prominence and visibility for tenants.
“The centre, which is anchored by a Co-operative food store, provides a strong local convenience offer to south Shrewsbury residents,” said Matthew Pegg, asset manager for the property.
“The improvement work is going to make a significant difference to the convenience offer and retail experience at this local shopping parade.
“The local convenience shopping sector has become an increasing focus for us and we now own more than 245 retail sites across the UK. As a proactive property investment company, we are constantly looking at how we can further improve our sites.”
Letting agents for Sutton Farm are Halls Commercial in Shrewsbury, whose manager James Evans negotiated the multi-million pound purchase of the property on behalf the LCP Group.
“With the significant inward investment in the surrounding area for residential development, London and Cambridge Properties Limited believes the centre can only go from strength to strength,” said Mr Evans. “This has been confirmed by the placing under offer of a further unit within the centre.
“I anticipate that the addition of car parking at the front of the centre will be of huge appeal to existing and new customers.”
