Witness appeal after assistant dog is attacked in Shrewsbury
Police in Shrewsbury are appealing for witnesses after an assistant dog was attacked while walking with its owner in the town centre.

The incident happened about 2pm on Wednesday 27 January on Pride Hill.
The owner, a woman in her fifties, was walking with a yellow Labrador when it was attacked by a tan coloured Staffordshire bull terrier.
The owner of the Staffordshire bull terrier is described as a white man in his forties.
Members of the public intervened and although the dog did not appear to be bleeding, it was limping.
Both owners went off in separate directions.
PC Lee Saunders said: "This attack not only caused distress to an animal but has also caused significant upset to its owner.
"Offences like this can have serious repercussions and can impact on the life of someone who relies on dogs such as this for daily assistance.
"Pride Hill is a busy place in the town centre and I would urge anyone who saw this incident to please call police on 101."
