A woman was cut free from a vehicle following a two car collision in Shrewsbury last night.

The collision happened on the Ellesmere Road near the Herongate junction at around 7.50pm.

Two fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury along with an operations officer.

Fire service personnel using Holmatro Cutting Equipment released the woman and left her in the care of the Ambulance Service.
