Police continue to look for missing Shrewsbury man, Russell Blent

A search of a wooded area near to Mary Webb Road and the Reabrook in Shrewsbury was carried out today following a report made by a member of the public. This search provided no new leads in the search for Mr Blent.

The 35-year-old was last seen in the early hours of Thursday, March 17, at an address on Moneybrook Way in Meole Brace.

Russell is described as white, around 6ft, of heavy build with short dark hair.

He was last seen wearing blue jogging bottoms, a grey jacket and blue and white trainers.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "He may be sheltering in garden outbuildings and we are asking residents to check garages and garden sheds for any signs that a person may have been sleeping there."

Police are appealing for any information about Russell and anyone who may have seen him or has knowledge of his whereabouts should contact police on 101.
