The Met Office has issued a warning for heavy showers and thunderstorms across Shropshire this afternoon.
Some places will miss the showers whilst nearby locations could see over 10 mm rainfall in a short space of time, with some standing water on roads and difficult driving conditions.
Very locally, hail could quickly produce a covering on roads whilst lightning will be a hazard.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Not everywhere will see these, but where they do occur, be aware of localised impacts from hail and lightning, as well as heavy rain producing standing water on roads and reduced visibility.
"The showers will slowly die out this evening."
