Westbury pub evacuated following kitchen fire

A pub near Shrewsbury was last night evacuated after a fire broke out in the kitchen.

Westbury pub evacuated following kitchen fire

The Red Lion at Westbury was evacuated after a fire involving a fryer broke out at around 8pm.

Firefighters from Minsterley and Shrewsbury tackled the fire using breathing apparatus and a hosereel jet.

A thermal imaging camera was also used.
