Water supply issues caused by damaged water main in Bridgnorth
A water main damaged by a third party contractor is causing supply issues for customers in the Bridgnorth area.
Severn Trent say they have received reports of no water supply and poor pressure from some customers.
The issue is down to accidental damage to a water main at Cross Lane Head.
A Severn Trent spokesperson said: "Our team are on their way to repair it and will do all they can to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.
"We understand how difficult it is to have no water, especially during busy times of the day when you’re trying to prepare meals & look after family and we’re very sorry for any trouble caused and thank you for your patience during this time."
