Two men have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence following a road rage incident in north Shropshire last night.

The incident happened on the A525 between 10pm and 10.20pm when the suspect vehicle, a Vauxhall Corsa, overtook the victim's car and is believed to have threatened the driver with what is thought to be a firearm, before leaving the scene at speed.
Two men aged 19 and 18 have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. It is believed that there may have been up to three other individuals within the suspected vehicle who police would like to speak to.
Police are appealing to the driver of a possible silver transit van pulling a caravan which had initially been travelling in front the victim and suspect's vehicle prior to the suspect vehicle overtaking it and may therefore have witnessed the incident.
Detective Sergeant Mat Crisp of West Mercia Police said: "We do not wish to alarm our communities unnecessarily following a report of suspicious activity; however to allow us to establish full circumstances, we are appealing to the driver of the transit van to come forward as they may have vital information that can help."
