Man found sleeping in middle of Shropshire road
A man was yesterday found asleep in the middle of a Shropshire road by a motorist on his way home from work.

The driver found what he thought was a badly injured or deceased person lying in the road in Cleobury Mortimer during the early hours of the morning.
Thinking the worst, he called for the Police and Ambulance and stopped to check the body.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "He put the hazard warning lights on in his car and approached the man, he could not see any movement and updated the Police.
"Once alongside the man he noted there was movement and the man was breathing, the man then awoke, causing even greater shock. It transpired that he was so intoxicated after a night out that he thought the middle of the road was a sensible place to take a nap.
"An officer attended the scene and confirmed that, luckily, the man had not sustained any injuries from his midnight sleep in the road. He was taken to a place of safety and left to sleep it off.
"Suitable words of advice will be passed, once he is sober enough to take note of them."
