Bus operator apologises for recent poor level of service
A bus operator has made a public apology for the ‘poor level of service’ it has provided in recent weeks.

GHA Coaches who operate several services in Shrewsbury and Shropshire has recently come under criticism regarding the reliability of bus services it operates in the county.
Conscious that the quality has fallen in the last few weeks, the Ruabon-based operator has begun a strong recruitment drive as part of their determination to resolve issues.
“One of the problems has been a shortage of drivers,” said GHA Coaches General Manager Stephen Bryce. “There is a national shortage of qualified bus drivers and we are addressing this by looking for friendly and reliable people who enjoy meeting the public and whom we can train to become bus drivers.
“We have also appointed two new depot supervisors to improve communication and service delivery,” he explained.
“At the same time we are introducing newer vehicles into the fleet and these buses will operate out of our Shrewsbury depot.”
He said customers who had been affected by the poor level of service were being offered a free weekly ticket for use on any GHA Coaches services in Shropshire.
At the same time, the operator is asking any customer who has been affected to contact the company through their website gha.coaches.co.uk
