Firefighters last night tackled a fire at a derelict cottage in Telford.

Firefighters tackle derelict cottage fire in Telford

Two crews from Tweedale and Wellington were called to the fire at the empty property on Hadley Road at just before midnight.

The fire involved the first floor bedroom of the two storey cottage.

Firefighters used two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus to put out the fire.

Hadley Road was closed to traffic by Telford & Wrekin Council whilst the fire was dealt with.
