West Mercia Police had been conducting searches and had also appealed for the public's help as part of the search.

Mr Parry, was a student of Universal Martial Arts on London Road, Shrewsbury. They posted a tribute on their Facebook page:

"It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we must announce the sad passing of our student and friend Lee Parry. Our thoughts are with his family and close friends at this very difficult time. Lee was a very popular and well liked member of the Shrewsbury school. We are all devastated by his loss. He will be dearly missed. RIP Lee."

Formal identification is yet to take place but the family of Lee have been informed.
