Police name woman following fatal collision on A49
Police today named a woman who died after a collision on the A49 near Strefford.
Myrtle 'Mitzi' Braund, aged 75 from Ludlow, died in hospital following the collision which took place on Monday.
The incident occurred shortly after 7.10pm, when a Ford Fiesta and a white private non-emergency ambulance were involved in a head-on collision.
Mitzi was both a mother of two and also a grandmother of three.
Her family said: "Mitzi, loved by all will be sadly missed so much."
Investigating officers continue to appeal for any witnesses to the collision who may have not yet come forward.
