Raj Bisram and James Braxton have been touring the area in a Renault Caravelle convertible selecting 10 lots which were sold in the interiors auction at Halls’ Battlefield Salerooms.

This popular antiques show, which is returning with series 13 this year, sees some of Britain’s best loved antiques experts travelling around the UK in beautiful classic cars.

They 'Road Trip' in pairs as they visit the most far flung of antiques shops, markets and car boot sales, buying items that they eventually take to auction in the hope of selling them for a profit. If they succeed, the proceeds are donated to Children In Need.

Each episode, which us screened at 4.30pm weekdays on BBC 1, is packed with fun shopping, interesting visits and gripping auctions! The episode featuring Halls is not expected to be broadcast until next year.

“Raj and James presented us with quite a nice variety of low value items to sell, from the wacky to the antique and decorative,” said Halls’ auctioneer Alexander Clement. “I think they were happy with the results, but there were no major surprises.

“It was good fun to have the Antiques Road Trip crew here and to have the classic Renault Caravelle convertible in the car park.”

To find out exactly how the lots performed, viewers will need to watch the episode filmed at Halls in the new year.
