Firefighters called to investigate smell of burning at Tankerville Arms near Shrewsbury
Firefighters were called to the Tankerville Arms at Longden near Shrewsbury yesterday evening after a burning smell was discovered in the bar area.
Two fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury along with an operations officer at just after 7.30pm.
Fire crews investigated the burning smell using thermal image cameras.
The source of the electrical burning smell was believed to have been coming from fridges in the bar area.
The fridges were removed for safety.
