Elderly woman suffers smoke inhalation after heating clothing in microwave
An elderly woman has suffered smoke inhalation after trying to heat clothing using a microwave in Telford.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a property on Gower Street in St Georges, Telford at around 12.54pm today.
A small fire involving the microwave was out upon the arrival of the fire service.
The woman was given oxygen therapy by firefighters for slight smoke inhalation prior to the arrival of the ambulance service.
