Motorcyclist dies following collision on A5 south of Oswestry
A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car on the A5 south of Oswestry this morning.

The collision happened on the A5 between Queens Head and the Mile End Roundabout at about 7.15am and involved a blue Ford Fiesta and a black Vincent Black Shadow motorcycle.
It's believed the motorcycle was travelling in the direction of Shrewsbury and the Fiesta was travelling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist - a man in his thirties - was pronounced dead at the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “When crews arrived they found members of the public and police officers carrying out CPR on the motorcyclist.
“Ambulance staff took over and carried out advanced life support but sadly, despite best efforts, it wasn’t possible to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“The man driving the car was understandably shaken by what had happened, but was uninjured and was discharged.”
The A5 was closed for several hours whilst emergency services worked at the scene. It has now reopened.
Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw either of the vehicles before the collision occurred.
Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 71S of 26 September 2016.
