Detectives re-appeal for information to trace missing Shrewsbury man Russell Blent
West Mercia Police are continuing their investigation in relation to missing Shrewsbury man who was reported missing six months ago today.

Russell Blent was first reported missing on 9 April and was last seen on the 17 March in the Meole Brace area of Shrewsbury. Officers investigating his disappearance confirmed it was being treated as suspicious in August and are continuing to urge anyone with information to contact police.
DCI Neil Jamieson from the West Mercia Police Major Investigation Unit said:
"Russell has now not been seen for over six months and we have serious concerns about his welfare. This is completely out of character for Russell who has failed to do the things which formed part of his usual routine.
"We urge anyone who has information about the circumstances surrounding Russell's disappearance to contact police immediately. We know Russell spent some time travelling to and from Bridgnorth in the days leading up to his disappearance and we ask anyone who may have seen him during this time to notify police."
Anyone with any further information is urged to contact police using the non-emergency number 101.
Information can also be passed on anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org
