Police appeal for witnesses to Thursday's collision on A5 at Queens Head

The collision happened along the A5 towards Oswestry at around 3.50pm and involved a silver Suzuki which left the carriageway and came to rest in the field.

Three people were injured in the crash.

The driver and one passenger were released from hospital the same night, a 15-year-old girl remains in hospital with back injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

Officers are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public's assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for the driver of a lorry carrying logs and the driver of a green vehicle with two white stripes upon the bonnet, to come forward as they may have information that can assist officers with the investigation.

Anyone with information that could prove useful to the investigation is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 458s of 13 October.
