Man cut from vehicle after colliding with disused electricity pole

A man was cut free from a vehicle after it left the road and collided with a disused electricity pole near Much Wenlock.

The incident happened at Hill Top at around 12.10pm today.

Fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton, Much Wenlock and Wellington.

West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police also attended the scene.

The man was released from the vehicle using holmatro cutting equipment and was conveyed to hospital via ambulance.
