Police search Telford beauty spots for missing Kidderminster man

Stephen Woolley, aged 55, was reported missing from his home in Kidderminster at 1.20am on Wednesday 7 December. He was last seen when he went to bed at around 10.15pm on Tuesday.

His family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare, as there have been no confirmed sightings since.

Stephen is believed to be driving a silver Vauxhall Zafira with the registration GJ52 FBX. Police are urgently urging anyone who thinks they may have seen this vehicle to contact them on 101.

Searches are ongoing to locate Stephen, with a focus in beauty spots across Telford, Malvern and North Wales, as Stephen is a keen walker.

Stephen is described as white, around 5ft 6", with short dark hair and a short grey beard. He usually wears dark rimmed glasses, and is believed to be wearing a black coat, a fabric fur lined bomber jacket, black jeans, a navy blue or black fleece and a grey hat.

Stephen's wife Carol Woolley said: "We miss Stephen so terribly, and can't describe how worried we are. Our boys Matthew and Daniel have been out searching day and night.

He could be anywhere so it's important that we find his car. We would urge everyone to check their streets and ask anyone who has seen it to get in touch the with the police. He has no money, no phone and always carries a water bottle, which he is missing. Stephen please come home, the whole family is missing you."

Anyone with information about Stephen's whereabouts is urged to contact West Mercia Police on 101.

Alternatively contact the missing people charity on 116 000.
