Root balls from cannabis plants found discarded in Claverley
A number of root balls from cannabis plants were yesterday discovered abandoned by the side of a road in the Claverley area.
PCSO Mandy Leek and Mike Watkins attended the area after being called by members of the public.
The root balls were disposed off appropriately by the two officers.
Local Officers are also aware of a similar find in the Quatford area earlier in the month.
West Mercia Police say they are often discarded by illegal cannabis growers after the usable part of the plant has been harvested.
