Firefighters were called to a fire involving a train at Shrewsbury Railway Station this morning.

Firefighters called to fire involving train at Shrewsbury Railway Station

The fire involved an alternator underneath a train at around 9.17am.

Two fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury along with operations and hazmat officers.

Firefighters dealt with the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel using foam.
