Second phase of flood barriers go up at Frankwell, Shrewsbury

The second phase of flood barriers being installed in Frankwell, Shrewsbury today as levels on the River Severn continue to rise.

Recent rain and further rain forecast in Wales will see levels continue to rise on the River Severn over the next 48 hours.

In Ironbridge, barriers will be deployed along the Wharfage from on Sunday. Cones will be deployed on Wharfage today for bungs to be put in the gullies.
