Second man arrested following Shrewsbury stabbing

A second man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Shrewsbury earlier this week.

Second man arrested following Shrewsbury stabbing

On Monday, a 53-year-old man was stabbed in Shrewsbury town centre near to Ravens Meadows and Castle Street.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Yesterday evening a 35-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and is in police custody.

Earlier this week a 20 year old man was arrested and charged.

Luke Pritchard, 20, of Shrewsbury, was charged with robbery and possession of a bladed knife and was due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
