Ward closed at RSH due to diarrhoea and vomiting
Ward 22 at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital has been closed following a number of cases of diarrhoea and vomiting.

The ward is closed to new admissions and visitors will not be allowed onto the affected ward unless there is a clinical need or if the patient is receiving of life care.
Diarrhoea and vomiting are common in adults, children and babies. They’re often caused by a stomach bug and should stop in a few days.
Last month an outbreak of norovirus saw wards 24, 27 and 28 closed for a time.
