Unwanted coats sought for two local county charities

As the cold weather sets in ANTA Community Training CIC is teaming up with local charities Stay and Shropshire Supports Refugees to collect unwanted winter coats.

Unwanted coats sought for two local county charities

The donated coats will support the homeless and vulnerable across the county this winter.

Donations will be shared between Stay, a charity dedicated to supporting homeless individuals, and Shropshire Supports Refugees, which helps refugee families settle and thrive in the region.

Both charities provide essential services and supplies to some of the most vulnerable people in the community, and your donations of winter coats can make a huge difference.

"We’ve all felt the change in the weather over the past few weeks, and while many of us can head out to buy new coats, there are people who do not have that luxury," said Craig Howard, Managing Director for ANTA Community Training CIC. "This campaign is an opportunity for the community to come together and ensure that no one is left out in the cold this winter."

Coats can be dropped off at ANTA’s offices located at Coalport House, Stafford Park 1, Telford, TF3 3BD on Thursday, 24th October, from 9am to 1pm.

If you are unable to bring along your coats along on the day but would still like to contribute, you can arrange an alternative drop-off time by emailing Rachel at rachel@antaeducation.co.uk.
