Shrewsbury man charged with drugs offences

A Shrewsbury man appeared before magistrates on Friday charged with a number of drugs offences.

Shrewsbury man charged with drugs offences

Edmund Welsby, of St George's Street in Shrewsbury, was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, concerned in the supply of class A drugs and two counts of possessing criminal property.

The 28-year-old was charged following an incident in Frankwell in Shrewsbury on Thursday.

Welsby appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates Court where he was remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Friday 7 February.
