Parts of Oswestry face continued water disruptions following burst pipe

Residents in the SY10 and SY11 areas of Oswestry are still grappling with water supply issues this morning, including complete loss of supply, poor pressure, and discoloured water.

Severn Trent says the ongoing disruption stems from a burst water pipe on the B5069, an incident first reported earlier.

Water utility teams are currently on-site, working to repair the damaged pipe and reinstate normal service.

Severn Trent says they expect that repair efforts will be completed by 1 pm today.

A spokesperson for the water company issued an apology for the significant inconvenience caused to affected residents.
