Bridgnorth residents urged to have their say in crucial community priorities survey

Bridgnorth Town Council has launched a new community consultation, inviting all residents to share their perspectives on local services, priorities, and the future direction of the town.
The initiative marks a crucial step in the development of a new Community Plan for Bridgnorth, with community engagement being a core element in shaping forthcoming Council decision-making. Residents are strongly encouraged to participate and ensure their voices are heard on the matters that impact them and their neighbourhoods the most.
Councillor David Cooper, Mayor of Bridgnorth Town Council, emphasised the importance of direct public input. "We want to hear directly from our residents," he stated. "We are aware of the pressures currently being felt by Shropshire Council and we want to hear what the needs and aspirations are for our community. This survey will give residents the opportunity to influence how the Council plans for the future.”
The survey is open to all residents within Bridgnorth Town and covers a wide spectrum of topics, including local facilities, community services, and environmental priorities. The Council has assured the public that all responses will be treated with strict confidentiality and meticulously analysed to help form future policies and initiatives.
How to Participate
The survey is easily accessible online at Bridgnorth Town Council Priorities Survey and will remain open until 30 January 2026.
For those who prefer not to complete the survey online, paper copies have been made available at several key locations across the town, including the Town Council Offices, Bridgnorth Library, Bridgnorth Medical Practice, and Bridgnorth Leisure Centre.
Residents are being asked to share the survey widely with friends, family, and neighbours to maximise participation and ensure the resulting Community Plan truly reflects the diverse voices of Bridgnorth.
