Driver rescued after vehicle overturns in Onibury
Emergency services were called to the scene of a collision in Onibury, near Craven Arms, yesterday evening.

The incident, which occurred on Green Lane, involved a single vehicle that had come to rest on its side, leaving the driver trapped.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) Fire Control received the emergency call at 7.02 pm on Thursday, 22 January. In response, two fire appliances were immediately mobilised from the Craven Arms, Ludlow, and Wellington stations to provide assistance.
Upon arrival, crews discovered the driver was "mechanically trapped" due to the position of the overturned car.
Firefighters worked swiftly to secure the scene, using specialised blocks to stabilise the vehicle and prevent it from shifting while the rescue was underway. To release the occupant, crews employed "small gear" and manual equipment to create an exit point.
Once the driver was safely extricated, the fire crews took further measures to make the vehicle electrically safe to prevent any risk of fire or secondary hazards.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police were also in attendance to manage the casualty and oversee road safety in the area.
